There will not be a third cohort of the DLT Real Jobs Grant. Unfortunately, the Governor’s Workforce board are now operating at a deficit from January-June and they wouldn’t approve that we continue another cohort. Instead, we are to wrap up the grant by the original project timeline of December 31, 2024. BOCA received some funds so far for the grant, five checks were mailed out from the first cohort.

Haley kicked off introductions
Rebecca went over purpose and history of BOCA
Amy went over 2024 accomplishments:
- Raised FPL %
- 5% increase to CCAP reimbursement, as of July 1
CCAP Pilot Program – Child Care for Child Care workers
Amy went over proposed 2025 goals:
- Child Care for Child Care workers – remove income limit for teachers
- Another 5% increase to CCAP reimbursement, especially as minimum wage increases
Remove the Child Support requirement for CCAP reimbursement
Amy asked for suggestions for goals
Amy went over DLT Hiring grant – there will not be a 3rd cohort
- GWB has no more funds, wrapping up grant this calendar year
Received April funds two weeks ago, issued 5 checks to 5 providers – $200/each
