Welcome and introductions
Guest speakers: Belinda O’Hagan, Doctoral Candidate & Tayla von Ash, Assistant Professor, Behavioral and Social Sciences, Brown University School of Public Health
Team at Brown University is conducting a study to understand how childcare affects children’s sleep. We are interested in how childcare providers approach nap time and what they think helps preschool age children nap well. This will include classroom observations, interviews & surveys, and gift cards for participation.
BOCA signed onto the RIght from the Start Campaign’s FY27 budget priorities that they are sending to the Governor. This year’s focus is on sustaining what is working by focusing on rate increases and helping families make ends meet with improved family tax credits
