The regular meeting of the Childcare Association of BOCA was called to order at 3:35 PM on November 16, 2020 on Go To Meeting by Rebecca Compton

                                           III. Consideration of Open Issues

1. Discussion surrounding COVID and childcare closing due to staff and or children exposed.   This has hindered operations. Getting through to Department of Health also has been hard. Charlee: Call after 7:30 weekdays or 4:30 weekends to get through this has seemed to work

 2.  We owe Rick 4k, Cadence is contributing to this and Maryann was sending out the bill. Money is not flowing due to COIVD being high in cases. We need to get more members signed on.

3. Maryann discussed she will start conversations around childcare. Let her know of any bills that we want to put into legislative.

4. Discussing meeting with Rick and Kim Main to get more childcare directors to merge. We need to be transparent to help with finances.  Start planning on how BOCA can benefit them.

5. Testing continue to take a long time to get results. We need a faster turnaround to get teachers back in the classrooms… Lt Governor looking to get childcare on the same testing lines as public school.

6. Maryann will send out information to the board about CCRI for business owners’ class on how to develop policy and procedures.  It is networking with 40 other people. Free

7. Tracy asking Nicole Chiello to come to our December 14^th meeting.

8. Follow up. Nicole said yes, would like to go first and if possible, have questions ahead of time.  If we can get a list to me, I can pass them along.
