- Kaleigh Perkins (Chief Impact Officer) & Kate Afonseca (CEO) – Big Brothers Big Sisters
- Reviewed Mentoring
- Looking for referrals of girls ages 7-14 in south county – https://bigsri.org/getabig/apply
- Foundation offers fundraising clothing bins
- Centers can have bins to raise money and help keep textiles out of landfills
- Retirement savings discussion
- Colin Danly introduced Matt Netto, AARP
- Discussing retirement planning options
- If someone doesn’t have access through work, they are 15 times less likely to save for retirement
- Introducing state sponsored individual retirement program (IRA) – 100% free to employer
- Robert Craven – this is part of an ongoing effort, Office of General Treasurer’s goals is to provide a vehicle for employees to save for retirement.
- Matt Netto – reviewed Secure Choice statistics and information
- No cost to employers, customer service is run through the provider
- 17 other states have similar programs, RI & NH are the only New England states without a retirement program
- No required match – business is not allowed to contribute

- Stacy Sullivan, CCRI to give an overview of the CDA and School aged childcare training programs and solicit feedback on the design
- Cheryl Lafond piloted prek program in 2010, here to provide input
- CDA program to cover topics important to ECE age groups
- If completed, employee would be eligible for credits at CCRI
- Went over CCRI course options, about 42 hour class
